After being added to the TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted List, an escaped Cocke County inmate has been captured. Ezekiel Lee Thompson was captured Thursday afternoon. Thompson allegedly assaulted a corrections officer and fled the jail on foot. The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office said Thompson was caught after someone saw him walking in an alleyway and called police.
