FAIRFIELD GLADE POLICE ARRESTS FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE
The Fairfield Glade Police Department arrested a wanted fugitive from justice yesterday while investigating reports of possible contractor fraud. A resident reported they had concerns about a person who was extremely pushy about replacing their roof. Upon investigation, detectives learned that 55-year-old Gregory Arnold Dillon of Asheville, North Carolina was representing himself as a legitimate roofing contractor out of Atlanta, Georgia. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Dillon had no legitimate ties with a company out of Atlanta. Upon officers making contact with Dillon, he allegedly gave a false name, but later revealed his true identity. Dillon was wanted out of several states including Georgia, Ohio and Texas. Texas authorities confirmed they would extradite Dillon for a parole violation. Dillon was arrested and taken to the Cumberland jail.
