FARR ARRESTED FOR ARSON FOLLOWING INCIDENT ON CHEROKEE TRAIL

First responders went to a fire at 9310 Cherokee Trail in Lake Tansi this week. Court documents state 52-year-old Melinda Faye Farr set a cotton jacket ablaze and stuck it under a utility trailer full of wood next to a mobile home in an attempt to burn down the dwelling. Farr then fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Farr was later located and arrested for arson. She is scheduled to make her first appearance in general sessions court May 10, 2021.
