FATAL CRASH IN BLOUNT COUNTY CLAIMS TWO LIVES

On Saturday afternoon, a fatal crash occurred on Highway 411 near Foxglove Lane in Blount County, claiming the lives of two drivers.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary report, a 2017 Volkswagen Golf, driven by 25-year-old Blayr Corazzini, was traveling south when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a 2018 Nissan Versa driven by 49-year-old Angel Hume.
Both vehicles spun following the impact, and the Nissan rolled onto its roof.
A third vehicle, a 2014 Ford Escape, struck the front of the Volkswagen but came to a controlled stop north of the crash. Corazzini and Hume died as a result of the collision, while the driver of the Ford Escape was uninjured.
