Cumberland County, TN- On Saturday around 7 PM officials responded to Vandever Road for a single-vehicle accident.

The vehicle was traveling on Vandever Road when it left the roadway on the right. The driver overcorrected, re-entered the roadway, and ran off the opposite side of the road. The vehicle went through a yard, struck a mailbox, and then hit a tree head-on.

The driver, identified as Kaitlyn Cagle, age 25 died in the accident. She was from Pikeville. The passengers, Amanda Shaffer, age 30, and Logan Walker, age 32 were both airlifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

According to the report, none of the occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
