Wayne County, Kentucky law enforcement and medics responded to Beaver Creek Marina late last night after a vehicle submerged in the water with its lights still on. The Wayne County Rescue Squad along with Jeff Dishman Towing recovered the car from the water. Wayne County Coroner Gordon Hicks pronounced a 74-year-old male from Louisville, Kentucky dead at the scene. The name is being withheld until notification has been made to his family. The body will be taken to Frankfort for an autopsy today at the State Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is continuing.
