A horrendous accident was reported in Cumberland County on Interstate 40 Thursday afternoon around 3:30 PM. Deputies, Fire crews, Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers and EMS personnel were called to mile marker 327 near Crab Orchard where the semi had crashed and burst into flames. According to reports, the driver, who has not been identified at this time, was pinned inside the wreckage and died at the scene. 1057 News will have more information on the wreck as it is released.
