FATHER AND SON ARRESTED AFTER SHOTS FIRED FOLLOWING ALTERCATION
An altercation yesterday in Bledsoe County resulted in two arrests after shots were fired. Deputies responded to the area of Simmons Road and Old Mountain Road where 59-year-old Michael Swafford and his son, 40-year-old Joshua Swafford, pulled up into a driveway in a truck and apparently shot at a man after an argument earlier in the day. The victim retrieved a shotgun and fired one shot that struck the fender of the assailants truck. No one was injured. Michael and Joshua Swafford were arrested for aggravated assault and reckless endangerment and taken to the Bledsoe County jail. (mugshots courtesy of the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department)
