A status update will take place this Tuesday (December 5, 2023) in Overton County Criminal Court for a father and son charged with the deaths of a couple.

Court officials say 62-year-old Robert Elza Cravens and 38-year-old Ryan Bo Cravens both face first-degree murder, the abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.

The two allegedly killed 46-year-old Henry Wilson and 44-year-old Kristie Wilson.

The couple was last seen alive at Kristie’s aunt’s house in Monterey on May 9, 2018. Investigators later found their vehicle down an embankment in Fentress County but found no sign of the Wilsons.

In October 2021, authorities recovered remains in a remote area of Overton County believed to be the couple. Investigators developed information leading them to the Cravens.
