Crossville police recently responded to the parking lot of Cumberland Medical Center for a vehicle theft.

Officers say a suspect wearing a yellow long-sleeve jacket or shirt crossed Cleveland Street and took a white 2001 Isuzu Trooper. The owner was inside picking up his wife from the emergency room.

A cell phone and two dogs were inside the automobile at the time of the theft.

The phone was found in a ditch on Highway 70 East.

Both dogs were located on the 3,000 block of Chestnut Hill Road.

As of yesterday, the vehicle remains missing.
