FAULTY SMOKE DETECTORS FOUND IN DEADLY BRADLEY COUNTY HOUSE FIRE
Bradley County fire officials completed an investigation into a recently deadly house blaze.
The fire took place at a home on the 100 block of North Brook Drive NE.
Crews found the bodies of 93-year-old Myrtle Irene Moore and her daughter, 68-year-old Dnese Moore.
Fire officials say the investigation found that the smoke detector did not alert the two occupants inside.
The blaze started in the kitchen and has been ruled unintentional.
