FEMALE ARRESTED IN ROCKWOOD WITH CHILD SEX CRIME CHARGES AND METH
Yesterday, Rockwood units were alerted to the possible presence of a female subject in the Rockwood area who was wanted on two Roane County Violation of Probation (VOP) warrants, as well as a full extradition warrant from Harrison County, Missouri, for two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Rockwood Police units immediately initiated a search for the female suspect. Chief Pittman located a female matching the provided description on the west side of the city.”
MSGT Mitchell and Officer Cofer responded to assist. Upon confirming the subject’s identity and the validity of the warrants, the female was taken into custody without incident. A subsequent search revealed the female subject was in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine (0.2 grams).
During the course of the investigation, a male subject present at the scene was also found to have an active warrant and was subsequently arrested.
