One of 2 Men wanted after fleeing from a Fentress County work
detail back in mid July last year has been found dead in Mexico. The Tennessee
Bureau of Investigation announced that Charles Kennedy, 35, who escaped
from the Fentress County in July 2021 has been found dead in Mexico.
Kennedy, escaped from the Fentress County Jail on Monday, July 19. Another
inmate, Casey Ridenour, escaped with Kennedy but was caught
shortly afterwards. . A positive confirmation of Kennedy’s
identity was sent to the TBI last week. Just how Kennedy died has
not yet been confirmed
