The Sheriff’s Office is aware of the rumor circulating about a child allegedly being drugged on a bus. After reviewing the matter, we can confirm this claim is unfounded and simply a rumor.

This incident was a medical emergency, and no information about the child will be released in order to protect their privacy. The responding officer and all others involved acted quickly and admirably to ensure the child received immediate care.
