Cumberland County and Crossville firefighters responded early Thanksgiving morning to a residential blaze off on Bud Tanner Road near Sunrise Dairy.

Officials say no one was home at the time of the fire.

The residence belonged to Tim Mast, owner of Sunrise Dairy.

The home sustained severe damage.

The cause of the fire was not initially released.

The Mast family has operated a dairy for 31 years, up until recently furnishing wholesale milk to commercial milk processors. They began bottling and distributing their labeled milk from their location on Bud Tanner Road.
