Just before 10 this morning, firefighters in Kingston responded to The New Brewery on the 1200 block of North Kentucky Street for a blaze.

Crews arrived to see smoke and flames coming from the kitchen area of the business.

Initial reports indicate a grease fire is the cause.

The kitchen was a total loss. Officials say smoke and water damage was noted to other areas of the structure.

The fire took about 20 minutes to be extinguished.

No injuries were reported.
