FIRE REPORTED IN RED BANK WEDNESDAY MORNING
Red Bank Firefighters responded to a fire Wednesday morning on Fitehaven Drive that displaced two families. The alarm was sounded on a duplex after a neighbor saw flames. When crews arrived they observed smoking rolling from the attic area of Apartment A. The fire was located in the living room of the apartment and was quickly brought under control and contained. Two cats were rescued from the burning structure. Neither family was home at the time of the incident however Side A was said to have extensive damage while Side B received heavy smoke damage. An investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing.
