FIREFIGHTERS AND T.H.P. RESPOND TO WRECK IN BLAIR AREA

On Thursday evening just before 11:00 p.m., a single-vehicle accident occurred in the Blair community near Robinette Lane on Blair Road, where a vehicle veered off the roadway, crashed into a basement, and ended up under a small railroad trestle. Two juveniles were inside the vehicle; one was transported to Methodist Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other declined medical attention, signing an Against Medical Advice (AMA) statement.
The Blair Volunteer Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies, ambulance services, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) responded to the scene, with the THP leading the investigation. Shortly after, another single-vehicle accident occurred on Harriman Highway (Highway 61) near Mahoney Road, where the driver, though somewhat disoriented, sustained no serious injuries, according to 911 dispatch reports.
