Five people were injured after an SUV crashed on Highway 111 yesterday on Cagle Mountain in Sequatchie County. Crews arrived to find the vehicle 40 feet over the embankment from the highway. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools and removed the vehicle’s roof to rescue those trapped in the SUV. The occupants, including adults and children, were transported to a hospital for treatment. The crash is under investigation. Officers will release the names of those involved at a later time.
