FLOOD ADVISORY ISSUED FOR PART OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flood Advisory for Overton County, northwestern Cumberland County, northern White County and Putnam County until 630 PM central.
At 3:30 p.m. central, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Radar estimates up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include Cookeville, Livingston, Gainesboro, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads, Burgess Falls State Park
