A two vehicle crash on Main Street in Crossville yesterday injured two. The accident report released this morning states a 2008 Chevy Cobalt driven by a 17-year-old female from Crossville was attempting to go across Main Street from Burnett Street onto Livingston Road when she pulled into the path of an oncoming 2005 Kia operated by 56-year-old Brenda Lawhorn of Crossville. The impact caused the Cobalt to spin and come to rest on its side. The teenager claimed she never saw the Kia approaching while Lawhorn stated she tried to take evasive action but was unable to avoid the crash. Medics took both to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
