FORD EXPLORER ROLLS OVER ON I-40
According to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, on Monday, at around 3:15 p.m., a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by 50-year-old Randall Lee Gupton was traveling East on Interstate 40 near mile marker 335 when it suddenly blew a rear passenger side tire and lost control.
The Explorer exited the roadway to the right and began to roll several times. The vehicle came to a final rest down an embankment resting against a tree on its passenger side.
Gupton sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the accident. Whether or not he was taken to a hospital or treated by EMS wasn’t detailed in the report. Gupton would also be charged with a suspended registration and no insurance.
