A prominent resident of Cumberland County has passed away. Judge Tom Bean took over the position of City Judge from his brother Jim in 1982. There he served for the next 32 years, retiring in 2014. Visitation for Judge Bean, who was 85, will be Thursday, Oct. 27^th from 5-7 PM at Bilbrey Funeral Home with the funeral taking place Friday, Oct. 28^th at 10 AM at the funeral Home. Judge Bean is survived by his wife Peggy, Son Tommy, Daughter Kathy, and brother Jim.
