FORMER TENNESSEE LAWYER SENTENCED FOR 35 YEARS

Former lawyer Andy Allman was sentenced on Friday for 35 years on various felony charges including theft over $60,000 and falsely holding himself as a lawyer.

Allman seemed to be living the life of luxury while many people accused the lawyer of stealing their money. Throughout the past few years, Allman has been charged several times and he was indicted by Sumner County Grand Jury.

Thomas Dean, the lead Assistant District Attorney (ADA) on the case said Allman was sentenced to 35 years on various charges including several felony theft charges. He also is charged with falsely presenting himself as a lawyer, once while he was out on bond.

Allman was convicted of 18 felonies in Sumner County court in November 2021. He also had more official complaints against him than any other lawyer in Tennessee history as of November 2021.

This is a sentence to serve which means he must serve at least 30% of the sentence in state prison before being eligible for probation.
