FOUR CITATIONS ISSUED FOR SELLING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR IN CROSSVILLE
Four different Crossville businesses had cashiers who were issued citations this month for selling alcoholic beverages to a minor.
On the Way Market (Lantana), Eco Travel Plaza (Genesis Road), Marathon (Executive Dr), and In & Out Tobacco Store (Elmore Rd) all sold an 18-year-old undercover informant a 6-pack of Smirnoff. After the transaction, city police officers returned to the store, with the alcohol, and issued a citation.
The informant was with a police officer and both were dressed in street clothes.
