FOUR ESCAPE INJURY IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON I-40 IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

Four individuals escaped injury in a single vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County yesterday afternoon. Trooper David Jones says a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas driven by 45-year-old Lynnette E. Ring of  Forsyth County, Georgia was traveling west at the 330 mile marker and swerved to avoid backed up traffic near a construction zone. The vehicle left the road, struck an embankment and came to rest after impacting a guard rail. Ring along with passengers in the vehicle, 18-year-old August Ring and two juveniles, were restrained at the time of the accident.
