FOUR OVERDOSE CALLS RESPONDED TO BY ROANE CO EMERGENCY UNITS IN ONE NIGHT
4 separate calls for ambulances for overdose individuals were made last night and this moring in Roane County. The first one at the intersection of
Gateway and Rathburn Street in Rockwood around 8 p.m. where a male
subject was taken by ambulance to the hospital due to a drug overdose.30 minutes later a call came in for an overdose at the Roane County Jail.
Another call for paramedics came in for a person at Auto-Zone in Harriman who had apparently overdosed. Then around 1:30 this morning units were dispatched to the apartments on Morning Drive in Harriman for a 50 year old female who apparently had overdosed49 individuals died from overdose complications last year in Roane
County according to the Roane County Medical examiner’s Office
