FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE FOUND IN ROCKWOOD

Rockwood police made an arrest on a female last Thursday evening who was wanted in another state. According to the report, she was charged with being a fugitive from justice, simple possession or casual exchange of illegal drugs, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

It all started around 10:00 p.m. when an RPD noticed a maroon vehicle traveling east on Dunn Street occupying both lanes of travel several times. The officer initiated a traffic stop at Joiner Hollow Road and Stricklan Lane and made contact with the driver identified as Tiffany Renee Shepherd. The officer’s report stated she was very nervous after interviewing her about any possible illegal drugs on her person. After a consented search, she allegedly admitted that she had meth in her bra.

After checking with 911 dispatch there was an active warrant out of Kentucky for her arrest. She was transported into the Roane County Jail where she still remained as of late this afternoon.

Her bond is set at $153,500.00.
