Funeral arrangements have been set for the 12-year-old Oliver Springs Middle School student who was killed after getting off a school bus last Friday in Blair. Jacob Patterson had just gotten off the bus and was crossing the road to check a mailbox when, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old riding a motorcycle struck the boy. THP says that the posted speed along that area is 35 mph. The family of Jacob Patterson will receive friends tonight from 5-8 PM at Premier Sharp Funeral Home with the funeral to follow. There will be a graveside committal Friday at 2 PM at Oak Ridge memorial Park. Citizens First Bank of Oliver Springs is accepting memorial donations.
