GALLAHER, CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER, BACK IN ROANE COUNTY JAIL

Not even a year after being paroled from prison, a man convicted of manslaughter in Roane County is back behind bars. Court officials say 39-year-old Eric Green Gallaher was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2015 for the death of David Lee Harvey at what was Big Orange Bar on Highway 27 north of Harriman. Gallaher was paroled in May of this year. He is now charged with violation of his parole. A revocation hearing is set for Gallaher for December 23, 2019. As of this morning, Gallaher is being held without bond in the Roane County jail.
