Vol State in Gallatin lifted lockdown orders after reports of a man with a knife near campus.  Police said they responded around 11:38 AM Thursday after reports described a man who had entered the Sprint store across the street from campus on Nashville Pike about 45 minutes earlier with a pocket knife. Officers said the man had reportedly described himself as the “reincarnated devil from Las Vegas.” The lockdown at Vol State was lifted after authorities said the man left the store and posed no immediate threat to the public.
