GARRISON NOW FACES 2ND-DEGREE MURDER CHARGES

Eric Garrison, initially charged with attempted second-degree murder for shooting Albert Darrell Sturgill Jr. on Main Street in downtown Crossville, now faces second-degree murder charges following Sturgill’s death on Sunday in a Knoxville hospital.
The charge was upgraded based on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s findings. In Tennessee, second-degree murder is classified as a Class A Felony, and if convicted, Garrison could face up to 60 years in prison.
