Crossville Memorial – George Matthew Bailey, born on February 23, 1953, in Okeechobee, Florida, passed away on May 19, 2025. A talented and generous man, George moved to Crossville, Tennessee, where he was loved by everyone he met. A devout man, his faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and interactions. George’s garden was a testament to his talent and dedication, with his love for growing garlic being well-known among friends and family. He had a unique ability to create beautiful things, whether it was a structure from any of his businesses or a melody from his guitar. George is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Judy Bailey, his daughter, Danielle, and son, Sidney, his sister, Sheila Weldon (George) of Okeechobee, FL. He also leaves behind four granddaughters, one grandson, two great grandsons, and his sister-in-law, Chris Bailey.
