GODSEY ARRESTED FOR METH POSSESSION IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

Cumberland County deputies observed a Kia Sedona on North Main Street occupied by 58-year-old James Harold Godsey of Crossville.

His driver’s license was revoked for DUI.

Deputies conducted a probable cause search after a female passenger indicated she had a smoke pipe in her purse. The search reportedly revealed three small plastic bags of meth in a purse.

Godsey reportedly claimed the drugs belonged to him.

He was charged with the manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of meth.

Godsey was placed under a bond of $12,000 and given an initial court date of November 27, 2023.
