Rockwood police responded to a home on Kingston Avenue last night to a disturbance. The arrests report indicates 71-year-old Lonnie Maurice Goss swung a golf club and hit a 15-year-old juvenile. The suspect denied striking the boy with the object. Officers allegedly smelled an odor of alcohol coming from Goss. He was charged with child abuse, domestic assault and violation of bond conditions. The juvenile was treated at the scene by medics.
