A grand jury in Cumberland County will soon hear the case regarding 29-year-old Andrew Nicholas Rich. He faces two counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of aggravated burglary stemming from an incident this past June in Fairfield Glade. Officers responded then to a home on St. George Drive for shots fired through a bedroom door. Rich reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle but was pulled over near the Genesis Road exit on Interstate 40. Reports state a sawed-off shotgun was found near where Rich was stopped. The next grand jury scheduled to meet to hear cases in Cumberland County is October 7, 2019.
