Court officials say 71-year-old Brenda Grubbs was indicted by a Putnam County grand jury yesterday for the second-degree murder of her husband, Ronald Grubbs, Sr. On December 8, 2018, deputies responded to a call for service at a residence where they found Ronald Grubbs Sr. unresponsive at his home. Mr. Grubbs died days later at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Brenda Grubbs will be arraigned on the charge soon in Putnam County Criminal Court.
