On March 25, 2025, Kenneth Haney was arrested and served with an arrest warrant charging him with Sexual Battery by an Authority figure. A White County magistrate issued the arrest warrant after finding probable cause that he unlawfully touched the breast of a 17-year-old female student while he was working as an aid on the school bus that the child was on.

Haney was booked into the White County Jail.
