The Harriman City Council met on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. The council took action on the following new business items:

• – Approved the first reading of an ordinance amending the advance written notice to the Chairman of the Harriman Beer Board from 45 days to 15 days.
• – Approved an increase in cart fees at Emory Golf Course from $5.00 to $8.00 for 9 holes and to $13.00 for 18 holes.
• – Approved the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Harriman and the Industrial Development Board of the City of Harriman for the development of Midtown Crossing.
• – Approved the reappointment of Jerry Davis and Vice Mayor Alicia Harris to the Library Board for a term ending June 2028.
