HARRIMAN CITY COUNCIL TO MEET TOMORROW NIGHT AT 6
The City of Harriman, Tennessee, has scheduled a council meeting for January 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Municipal Office Complex Plaza at 408 N. Roane Street.
The session will begin with a public hearing at 5:45 p.m. on Ordinance 1225-02, which aims to establish a formal grievance procedure to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
Following the hearing, the regular agenda includes opening with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call, approval or correction of minutes from the December 16, 2025, meeting, approval of salaries and bills, hearing delegations and citizen comments, and reports from the Harriman Utility Board (HUB), Treasurer, City Attorney, and City Manager.
Under new business, the council will discuss and possibly approve the final reading of Ordinance 1225-02, as well as authorize the surplus sale on GovDeals.com of a 2002 Chevrolet and a 2016 Dodge Charger.
The meeting will conclude with mayor and council remarks, adjournment, and a workshop session afterward.
