HARRIMAN CITY COUNCIL TO TACKLE BOARD APPOINTMENTS AND SURPLUS VEHICLE SALES
The Harriman City Council is set to convene Tuesday, September 15, at 6 p.m. at the 408 North Roane Street Plaza for a packed regular session. Following standard administrative procedures, including approving past minutes and city bills, the council will hear reports from city officials before moving into a series of municipal appointments.
Key Board and Committee Appointments

Beer Board: Jason Shillings is up for a term extending through August 2030.

Surplus Equipment and Business Operations
The council will vote to declare several aging and retired municipal assets as surplus, authorizing their liquidation via GovDeals. The listed property includes a 2017 Ford Escape from the Police Department, a 2026 Schwarze street sweeper and 1997 Ford F-800 dump truck from the Street Department, a Parks and Recreation John Deere tractor, and a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche from Administration. Additionally, members will debate and potentially approve a new operational contract with Pinnacle IT.
The meeting will conclude with remarks from the mayor and council, immediately followed by a scheduled working session.
