HARRIMAN FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO TWO INJURED PEOPLE

Harriman Fire Department responded to two injuries yesterday.
At approximately 2:00 p.m. yesterday, a 38-year-old individual fell approximately 25 feet from a tree at 158 Pine Ridge Road in Harriman. According to Assistant Chief John Johnson of the Harriman Fire Department, the person sustained a broken arm and other possible injuries. They were transported by ambulance to UT Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment.
As Harriman Fire and Police were concluding operations at the tree fall incident, a two-car accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on the I-40 on-ramp from Pine Ridge Road in Harriman. An elderly female sustained minor injuries and was taken to Roane Medical Center for treatment. Harriman Fire, Police, and ambulance services managed the scene for approximately 45 minutes before the roadway was cleared.
