Harriman firefighters responded Monday night to a home on the 300 block of Byrd Avenue for a structure fire.

Crews conducted a primary search upstairs because they thought there was possibly a female trapped inside. They quickly covered the upper rooms and everything was clear.

No injuries were initially reported.

The cause of the fire is being determined.
