HARRIMAN PD ENCOURAGES CITIZENS TO COME AND GET TDOT CAR STICKER
The Harriman Police Department is encouraging citizens in the area to come by their office and get a free sticker for their back windshield which will give EMS extra information on those who may be in an accident or have medical issues. The stickers will better prepare on how to treat those who need medical attention.
It’s called the TDOT Yellow Sticker and it allows officers and first responders to have information like certain medications that may be needed if the driver or passengers are in an accident and are unresponsive.
There could come a time when the sticker could be a lifesaving tool and it is free of charge. The sticker would go on the back of the rear windshield and a packet would be placed in the glove box which they could have access to to properly get you the help you need promptly.
Go by Harriman City Hall 408 North Roane Street in downtown Harriman and the Police Department is upstairs and you could obtain the sticker free of charge.
Harriman Police Chief Baron Tapp encourages everyone to come by and get the free packet.
