HARRIMAN TRASH ROUTE UPDATE
In regard to Harriman, Waste Connections—the trash pickup provider for the City of Harriman—has announced a trash route update. According to the city’s letter: To continue improving trash pickup in our community, we’re adding an additional truck and route to Harriman starting December 17. This new Thursday route will help split part of our busy Wednesday small-truck route, improve pickup on narrow streets where the big truck has difficulty, provide backup if the main truck has issues, and keep service running smoother and more reliable for everyone.
Residents affected by this first phase will receive a sticker or notice directly on their trash can with their new pickup day. Only a limited number of homes are included in this initial adjustment so we can make changes gradually and avoid confusion.
The addresses included in this change are:
– Tanglewood Rd (319, 315)
– Cofer Ln (130, 128, 114, 108, 102, 110)
– Bazel Rd (1035, 1023, 1015, 1011)
– Coffey Ln (104, 118, 112, 134, 137, 145, 103, 109, 117, 125)
– Morning Dr (254, 250, 228, 308, 304)
– Vann Dr (240, 231, 219, 215, 213, 208, 205)
If you live on one of these streets, please watch for your notice on your trash can. The updated trash day will officially begin on Thursday, December 18.
As always, thank you for your patience as we continue improving services for every Harriman resident.
