HAWKINS ARRESTED AFTER REPORTEDLY POINTING FIREARM AT MAN IN ROANE CO.

Roane County deputies responded to a physical altercation at a home on Stubbs Road in Oliver Springs Christmas day. The report indicates 59-year-old Nancy Bray Hawkins got into an argument with her husband over television and started to throw items at him including a 7.5 inch meat cleaver and a 8 inch knife. Both missed the male. Hawkins also reportedly pointed a fully loaded .38 caliber firearm at the victim. No shots were fired. Deputies located the weapons used and arrested Hawkins for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
