A couple charged with animal cruelty in Crossville appear in general sessions court. Officials say 21-year-old William Keith Hayes plead guilty to animal cruelty and Judge Larry Warner sentenced him to 11 months 29 days supervised probation to be served along with an existing probation sentence he is serving. 21-year-old Jaide A. Janow was appointed an attorney and will return to court November 14. The case revolves around an incident at Economy Inn back on September 16 where a puppy was found in a vehicle in the parking lot with no air circulation and suffering an apparent injury from possibly one of two spring-loaded traps set in the car.
