HEAVY TURNOUT REPORTED FOR FIRST DAY OF EARLY VOTING IN CUMBERLAND AND ROANE COUNTY
Heavy turnout was reported yesterday at numerous sites for the first day of early voting for the upcoming November 3, 2020 election. In Cumberland County, officials noted 1,656 in person and in Roane County, 1,528 cast ballots. The early voting period runs until October 29, 2020. In Cumberland County, you may vote at the election commission office across from the old courthouse on Main Street in Crossville from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and Saturday’s from 8 a.m. to noon. Roane County voters can go to the Kingston, Rockwood or Harriman Community Center or First Christian Church on Gum Hollow Road. For all other counties, contact your local election commission offices for times to vote.
