Deputies responded to a home on Rattlesnake Drive in Cumberland County Wednesday evening for violation of an order of protection served approximately two hours earlier. They found 52-year-old Michael Kevin Hensley in the garage of the home he’d been ordered to immediately vacate.

Hensley claimed he was told by Crossville City police he could run home to retrieve a few things before his wife got there. Deputies explained Hensley would need to go through proper channels in the court system to return to the residence.

Hensley was arrested for violation of the order of protection and placed under $1,000 bond.
