HIGHWAY PATROL RESPONDS TO MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 70 WEST IN PLEASANT HILL
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and paramedics responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 70 West in Pleasant Hill yesterday afternoon. The accident report states a 2006 Subaru Outback driven by 39-year-old Brandon Brown of Sparta was slowing to turn into a private driveway when his automobile was rear ended by a 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan operated by 33-year-old Steven Smallwood of Crossville. Brown was not hurt. Smallwood was taken by ambulance to Pleasant Hill Elementary where an air medical helicopter landed to transport him to an area trauma center.
